Gabriele Hennecke

Gabriele Hennecke is currently leading the Supply Chain Logistics Excellence & Digitization Team of a business unit of Siemens Gas & Power GmbH & Co KG, which mainly deals with large-scale turn key projects. The task of the team is to simplify the logistical project handling in this complex environment, to make it more transparent and faster, without sacrificing the flexibility that is necessary in the project environment, through continuous improvements and the introduction of various digital solutions. Ms. Hennecke started her career at Lotus Development and worked in various software companies before she started working for Siemens in central IT purchasing in 1999. Due to her work in OEM purchasing, she got to know the different vertical solutions of the group and later supported the introduction of digital mammography. During a 3-year stay in South Africa, in which she was involved in the introduction of a new SAP system (responsible for supply chain processes), she discovered her pronounced affinity for logistics and since then has been performing various tasks in the area of supply chain / logistics with responsibility for optimization projects including related IT solutions.
