Dr. Ralf Belusa

Dr. Ralf Belusa is Managing Director - Digital Business & Transformation at Hapag-Lloyd and currently digitizing the traditional 170-year-old global player. Together with his team, he steers the logistics giant in 144 countries into the digital future. Important drivers for transformation are not just technologies, but also cultural change and employee development. Ralf Belusa currently provides one of the most exciting transformation successes in the industry worldwide. He is Member of the Supervisory Board at Phoenix Pharma SE, which is active in 27 countries with over 37,000 employees - EUR 33 billion revenue in fiscal year 2018/19 and more than 150 Million Patient contacts throughout Europe. At the age of six, he learned to program and founded his first software company at the age of 16. Ralf Belusa has also written his PhD in human cell research and master and diploma thesis in nanotechnology and systems theory. He advises the federal government, Daimler, top eCommerce, marketing, healthcare, pharmaceutical and space technology companies and acts as a mentor, investor and TEDx speaker.
