Michael Donalies

Michael Donalies is Head of Logistics and is responsible for the areas of warehouse, transport, supply planning, empties management as well as customer service, export processing and display construction. In addition, he is in charge of the planned new logistics building at the Flensburg brewery.
He has more than 25 years of experience, particularly in the area of operational warehouse management. After completing his dual education with a degree in business administration, he gained experience in various food wholesaling companies and switched to the beverage industry at the beginning of 2016. He has been APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution since 2017.
In addition, his expertise in strategic, company-wide process optimization, conception, planning and introduction of modern warehouse technologies, conception and implementation of change processes as well as his know-how in the area of planning and implementing new warehouse buildings and expansions should be emphasized.
His interest in innovation, automation and digitalization was aroused early on with the introduction of Pick by Voice at Lekkerland and most recently led to the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art sorting line at the newly built Holsten brewery in Hamburg-Hausbruch.
Since the end of 2020 he and his team have been working on designing a new, innovative and modern logistics center for the Flensburg brewery, which has been growing for years.
