Christiaan Carstens

Christiaan Carstens is member of the executive board of leogistics GmbH. As Consulting Director for many years, he has played a key role in shaping the positive development of the past years. In his role, his focus is on the strategic orientation of the consulting and management organisation in an international context. Together with his team, he is driving forward the expansion of the consulting offering to include new delivery models and solutions from leogistics.
The expertise of the graduate in business administration and Master of Science in Logistics is particularly in the areas of rail and plant logistics. For Mr Carstens, rail, with its enormous potential for digitalisation and optimisation, is the transport mode of the future. Due to the large number of implementation projects he has successfully carried out, he also has a high level of project management expertise.
Carstens can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the logistics environment: before joining leogistics in 2015, he worked as a Principal Business Consultant at SAP after serving for twelve years as a logistics officer in the German Armed Forces Air Force.
