Frank Iden (55 J) is responsible for logistics & transport activities within the Hettich Group as Managing Director, as one of the world's largest manufacturers of furniture fittings.
Born in Bremen, he looks back on many years of experience in the design of supply chains and is familiar with the requirements of industry and trade companies. Previous stages in his professional career include positions as CEO of Hermes Logistic Group and Trans-o-flex in Germany. At DHL Express he was Head of Business Development within the Mail Order Competence Center.
Frank Iden observes that many companies are currently re-evaluating their supply chain concepts - the keyword is: resilience! He believes that forward-looking crisis management is an effective way of overcoming delivery problems. The important question will be the economic balance between global and regional supply chains and how they can be achieved. A possible strategy could be called "China +1".
