Mr. Joest is one of the leading experts for location-based services in the German-speaking countries. Since more than 2 decades he is innovating in the area of asset-tracking, navigation, and spatial visualization – especially in dynamic environments like indoors. He is Co-Initiator of omlox – the open locating standard and coordinates the technology group with the hosting organization PROFIBUS and PROFINET International (PI). Furthermore Mr. Joest is Founder of Flowcate, an ISV that builds software-products based on the omlox standard.
