BIEK
The lawyer has represented the interests of the parcel industry for more than 15 years. Before that,
the native of Mecklenburg worked as a research assistant for the German Bundestag and held
various positions in business, including at Williams-Renault, Volvo and RTL.
Founded in 1982, BIEK is the umbrella organisation and mouthpiece for courier, express and parcel
services (CEP). The members of BIEK are DPD, GLS, GO!, Hermes and UPS. Through them, the
association represents approximately 3,500 other small and medium-sized logistics companies in
Germany.
