Kira Schmeltzpfenning is responsible for the Intralogistics & -IT Planning department at Fraunhofer IML in the joint department management with Jennifer Beuth. In her daily work, everything revolves around warehouse processes and the associated resources: people, logistics IT and the use of technology in the warehouse. Through meanwhile 7 years of application-oriented research in the field of logistics IT, she has a comprehensive overview of trends and developments on the WMS market.
