Katharina Unfug

I work as a Department Manager in Material and Supplier Management at E.ON Grid Solutions GmbH, where I am responsible for the logistics of measuring devices. During my studies in business administration, with a focus on logistics, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the chemical and automotive industries. Following my graduation, I started my career in procurement in 2009 before transitioning to the field of logistics in 2012.

In my role, I have played a significant part in harmonizing and standardizing logistic processes assuming the pivotal role of establishing and managing strategic partnerships with logistics service providers to ensure impeccable operational efficiency.

Together with my team, I am dedicated to ensuring availability of measuring devices for E.ON’s electricity and gas network in Germany. Our product portfolio includes small household meters, smart metering systems, and large industrial installations. I am accountable for the entire flow of materials and information, from quantity planning to proper return and disposal of the devices.
