Erik Wirsing

Erik Wirsing has worked for over 23 years at DB Schenker in various positions and has been leading the global innovation division as the Vice President of Global Innovation in Global Ventures & Innovation within the CEO's office at Schenker AG since 2016. He researches and observes societal and technological trends such as digitalization, 3D printing, autonomous driving, alternative fuels, smart devices, and cargo drones. From these trends, he derives forward-looking application areas for the logistics of the future. He places special focus on the DB Schenker Lab, startup activities, and innovative pilot projects that support the logistics of tomorrow.
