Dr. Jan Schneider

Dr Jan Schneider (born 1971) is Head of Logistics Operations at Tchibo GmbH, Hamburg. He manages
an international team of 250 employees and a further 2,000 service providers.
His responsibilities include the entire warehouse and transport network, including customs
processes. Currently, he is working on the reorganisation of the warehouse network and the
associated intralogistics investments. He is also pushing digital and sustainable innovations in Tchibo
Logistics through change processes, promoting networking, individual responsibility and agile project
management.
The supply chain expert repeatedly plays a key role in large-scale transformation projects and the
development and implementation of future-oriented logistics strategies, in the past at Coca-Cola and
Unilever, among others.
