Constantin Enke has been leading the technical development of VDA 5050, the standard for communication between mobile robots and fleet managers, for the past three years. As a research associate at the Institute for Material Handling and Logistics (KIT) and deputy head of the “Mobile Agents and Robotic Systems” department, his research focuses on how heterogeneous fleets of mobile robots can operate efficiently and reliably in intralogistics environments.
