With the aim of making tomorrows transportation systems smarter, greener and safer, Felix is dedicated to the automation of trucks and agricultural robots at Fraunhofer IVI. Within his PhD studies, he investigated in algorithms for multi-robot coordination under consideration of the swept area of large vehicles. Currently, he is leading a research group for applied research in the entire spectrum of vehicle automation - including mission planning, orchestration, control algorithms and system integration.
