Katharina Hast is the Global Head of Factory Logistics at Beiersdorf AG. She is responsible for the global factory logistics roadmap at Beiersdorf, which takes processes, IT systems and technologies into account. The digitalization and automation of logistics processes play a major role in this, which is being driven forward with the production plants worldwide. Katharina’s background is in mechanical engineering and she did a PhD at Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University about data-based learning in production networks.
