Boomerang Systems
Marc Engelmann first completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and then studied journalism in Hamburg. He worked as a TV and video journalist for funk (ARD & ZDF), among others, until he founded the start-up Boomerang® in 2021. Boomerang develops reusable packaging for online retail and intralogistics to reduce packaging waste and CO2. As CEO, he is responsible for marketing, product development and vision. To date, Boomerang has received growth financing of around €3 million in two financing rounds. The team consists of 15 employees and is based in Hamburg.
