Michael Gegner

Michael Gegner has been working in the field of SCM for over 20 years. He has gained experience and expertise in various positions, Levels on the shopfloor in the international automotive environment. Mr. Gegner accompanied and managed ERP implementations as key user, sub-project manager, in-house consultant and process owner, both in S/4 transformation projects and non-SAP environments. In his last positions as Head of global logistics and Director Material Flow Corp., Mr. Gegner focused on standardization, streamlining processes and automation in SCM worldwide. The sites and logistics centers that have been put into operation over the years bear his signature. Since March 2025, Mr. Gegner has been part of the global SCM at Gebr. Knauf in Iphofen as Program Manager for Intralogistics & Warehousing and concentrates on the development and further deployment of the sites up to WMS implementation. Mr. Gegner drives the AGV pilot at Knauf with the focus on a successful POC with template character for further locations.
