Tim Menapace

Tim Menapace joined the Schaeffler Group in mid-2020 as a Software Architect in the Operations IT. The Operations IT is responsible for managing all IT/OT equipment and to deliver digital solutions for more than 80 Schaeffler production plants across the globe. In his team “Connectivity & Process Control Solutions” they are defining how to retrieve data from thousands of shopfloor assets (production machines, measurement devices, AGVs, Cobots etc.) and how to holistically control these assets based on the current business demands.

Tim studied Computer Science in Bayreuth & Leipzig before working at the Cybersecurity department of T-Systems MMS. Afterwards he gained 3 years of experience as a Software Developer in a Bitcoin Startup before moving to the corporate automotive world at Schaeffler.
